FAQ's
In order to receive the treatment and book your awaited appointment, you will require a patch test (essentially allergy test for the pigments).

The patch test is required at least 48 hours before the treatment, Leann suggests this is done at the consultation, prior to the appointment, where all the forms and paperwork can be filled out to save you time.

No shows to consultations will be charged £10 to rebook.
PAYMENTS / DEPOSITS
There is a treatment booking fee of £50.00 payable on the day of consultation. This fee if Non-Transferable and Non-Refundable.
CANCELLATIONS
Late cancellations and 'no shows' appointments cost time and money, therefore if you do not give 48hour notice then 50% of the treatment cost will be charged.

Any future appointments will be canceld until the debt is paid.
Is it Painful?
Most people either do not feel anything but some do say it feels like their brows are being scratched.

A small amount of topical anesthetic is applied to the area treated to ensure no pain or the minimal amount of pain necessary is felt.

But everyone is different so Leann will helps you through the treatment if the area becomes sensitive to make sure the whole treatment is comfortable for you.
What's the difference between PhiBrows and PhiSombre?
Microblading is a manual technique (hair strokes/hair imitation). Please note microblading is not suitable for all skin types. Sombre is a machine technique (pencil/powder effect).

Please check the Treatments Page for more info.
Can I bring family or friends along?
Due to the high level of concentration, skill and hygiene needed no one else can be present for your appointment.
Can I have the treatment while pregnant?
Unfortunately, the treatment is unsuitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Can you retouch my SPMU done elsewhere?
Leann is very particular and great at getting the right shape for you, and more often than not the previous work is either too dark or the wrong shape to be altered. But if your unsure please book a consultation.
Leann recommends if you're not happy with them, get them removed or wait until they the brows have faded and book an appointment.
How long does it last / will the colour change?
The pigment and shape tattooed will last from 1-3years. However, lifestyle, skin type, and the density of the colour will determine the length of time. (Lighter, softer brow enhancements don't last as long).

The colour won't change as Leann uses the highest quality pigments. The colour will slowly soften over time. Leann recommends having regular colour boosts.
Shall I shape my brows before the treatment?
No need to shape your brows before you have the treatment! Leann is experienced and will shape your brows that suit your face structure.

Don't forget once you have been for your top-up, your brow shape is your responsibility to maintain (advisory to wait 2-3 weeks after treatment to pluck or wax).
Am I able to see the brow shape before the actual treatment?
Yes, always! Leann will draw the shape of the brows for you to see before the actual treatments start.
Can I use my normal skincare products on my new brows?
Of course - but avoid the brow area with any products that contain these ingredients for at least 6 weeks (including after your topup treatment): AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids ), BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acids), Vitamin A, Retinol.

These active ingredients increase exfoliation and/or skin cell regeneration. But once the brows are healed you can continue using as normal.
Sun exposure - Can I sunbathe or go on a sun bed?
Please avoid direct sunlight, sunbeds before and after the treatment for AT LEAST 7 days.

Why? - The pigments particles will be taken away by the lymphatic system due to the increased blood flow if exposed to the sun/sunbed. It will also increase any chance of scaring!

After your brows have healed you can sun worship, but it's vital to use sunscreen no lower than 30spf to avoid fading over time and pigment discoloration.
